Evaluation is built around duplex ultrasound (a painless ultrasound scan that shows the leg veins and which way blood flows in them) when clinically appropriate to review circulation in your lower legs.
Many treatment options are performed in office without general anesthesia. Recommendations depend on your evaluation and anatomy.
